Abel was named after the Dutch adventurer Abel Tasman, the first European to discover New Zealand in 1642. The brand was founded by New Zealander Frances Shoemack in Amsterdam with the aim of producing the world's finest natural perfume. Abel's Vita Odor collection is based on extensive research and development to create the best possible natural perfume, created by experienced master perfumer Issac Sinclair.
