An important Ayurvedic self-care ritual is oil pulling. During oil pulling, oil is swished around the mouth and pulled through the teeth first thing in the morning, directly after waking up, and then spat out. Very simple, similar to using mouthwash – with the difference that oil is a natural product.

This ritual supports the oral microbiome, teeth, and gums. In India, oil pulling is practiced daily. However, you can also begin with a treatment course. One bottle of mouth oil lasts approximately one month. You won’t want to miss the incredible feeling of freshness afterward. How to use
Using mouth pulling oil always follows the same routine. Place one tablespoon of Strong Peppermint mouth oil onto a spoon. Then place the oil into your mouth and swish it around for five to ten minutes, pulling it through your teeth. Afterwards, dispose of the oil (please in the trash, not down the drain) and rinse your mouth with water. Voilà: Long-lasting and soothing freshness for your mouth.
