More about Le Prunier - A treasure in the beauty universe

In September 2017, Californian sisters Jacqueline, Allison and Elaine Taylor co-founded Le Prunier ™, an innovative and organic cosmetics line based on the power of the plum. Dried plums originate from the Caucasus in Western Asia, an area known as the "land of longevity" due to its incredible longevity and exceptional health. The plum has been known as the "fruit of life" in this region for centuries.

Sister's story begins in 1916, when her great-grandfather Earl Taylor began farming the rich soils of Sutter County, 30 miles north of Sacramento. Her grandfather George Taylor continued the family tradition, followed by her father and uncle. The sisters spent much of their youth on the farm, helping with the harvest, working at farmers' markets and attending fairs to promote their product.

In 1985, the family decided together to switch to organic farming and expand the business to facilities in Europe and Asia. The girls accompanied their father on many of his business trips to Asia and Europe, often to Japan and Korea. During these trips, they learned how Asian culture views the plum as a superfood with exceptional health and beauty benefits.

In 2014, they made the decision to investigate alternative uses of the plum by partnering with two world-renowned laboratories. Their goal was to uncover the hidden benefits of this powerful fruit while ensuring sustainable, organic farming. One of the areas they explored was the use of the plum's overlooked by-products. What they discovered - the most valuable and powerful oil - is now Le Prunier™.

In November 2017, the sisters introduced their first retail product with Neiman Marcus in Dallas, TX. Today, the sisters continue the farm's legacy with an eye toward the fourth generation - tradition meets innovation.
