This natural lip balm in a glass jar contains 8% ghee – clarified organic butter – as its active ingredient. Ghee has been used in Ayurveda for centuries to care for internal and external dryness.

Considered particularly sattvic, ghee is deeply nourishing and balancing. It contains no water or milk sugar, but is rich in valuable fatty acids that support the skin barrier, promote wound healing and help to retain moisture within the skin.

The lip balm is further enriched with nourishing castor, jojoba and broccoli seed oils, soothing bisabolol and our own evening primrose oil extract. Evening primrose is rich in omega-6 fatty acids, has calming and anti-inflammatory properties and is traditionally used for very dry, sensitive or irritated skin.

Our evening primrose plants grow in Vorarlberg and are harvested by hand after sunset, then infused in oil on the very same night.

The balm can be used during the day to care for dry lips and is equally suitable as an intensive overnight treatment.

Very dry areas of skin such as the corners of the mouth, cuticles, elbows or rough patches on the face also benefit from its rich yet well-tolerated texture.

With a delicate rose scent derived from pure essential oils.

Free from: GMOs, BHT/BHA, lead and other heavy metals, nanomaterials, VOCs, parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde (and formaldehyde releasers), preservatives such as triclosan, REACH SVHCs > 0.1%, gluten, BSE/TSE, mineral oils, silicones, artificial fragrances and colourants.
